What is an RFAM Certified Member (RCM)?

RCM’s are individuals and organizations that have received training when it comes to Recreation Asset Management and have experience using the RFAM solution. This results in improved management of recreation facilities and open spaces.

 

Why is being an RCM important for practitioners?

As a recreation professional you are able to elevate your profile and present to potential employers and your peers that you have experience and training with Recreation Asset Management and understand how to implement and utilize a Recreation Asset Management Program successfully.

Why is being an RCM important for organizations?

Organizations including Municipalities, Universities/Colleges, privately owned recreation facilities, and Not-For-Profits will be able to share with stakeholders their commitment to community safety and asset management by becoming RCM’s. This involves education of staff and implementation of best practice to make facilities and open spaces a safe place for all.

Members can post and add to their LinkedIn Certificates that they are RCMs in addition they can also add this to their resume and add Marmak as a reference to verify your training and experience with Recreation Asset Management & RFAM.

The RCM logo will be made available to members that wish to promote it on their website either on the main page or on the pages listing their facilities and parks. This will highlight their commitment to Recreation Asset Management and Community Safety by either linking it to our site or a brief paragraph describing their Asset Management practices.

Members will be able to share their experiences with peers and demonstrate the training they have received and the benefits of being familiar with RFAM both from a career/personal development and a project deliverable perspective.
