Importance of Inspections

Watch our interview with Mark Reinert (Manager of Facilities at Town of Petawawa & President-Elect at Ontario Recreation Facilities Association) from Town of Petawawa on the importance of inspections and the value RFAM provides to him and his staff.

Create Inspections

Inspections - Area Specific

Inspections are based on area. Each facility/open space can have inspections designed specifically for them. Staff sees exactly what needs to be done for each asset.

If multiple departments use RFAM, users can be assigned to specific assets. Facility staff can only see facility inspections and park staff can only see park inspections.

Create an Inspection

Customize inspections so what staff sees on their tablets is exactly the work that needs to be done as opposed to following outdated templates taken off the internet.

Manage Inspections

Enable and disable inspections so your staff do not get bombarded with sessional work or outdated inspections - make sure the work assigned to your staff is the work that needs to be done.

Notify Staff

Add staff’s emails, either work or personal, and let RFAM notify them when work needs to be completed to make sure all tasks are completed and done on time thereby reducing risk and maintaining community safety.

View Inspections

View Inspection List

Staff can login and see inspections automatically sorted by new to old. They can filter to determine which ones have passed, failed, or still need to be completed.

Complete an Inspection

Inspections can be extremely detailed, providing staff with as much information needed to complete their work. In addition, staff can also include attachments, notes, view an offline print form, and generate a work order. Managers can login and verify the history of inspections to see what was completed, when, and by which staff member -  all crucial details from a liability perspective.

Map

Leverage Spatial Inspection Data

View all inspections on a map. Filter, sort, search and open inspections based on location. Improve efficiency and assign staff to complete inspections in the same geographic area to save time and money.

Reports

Operational Analytics

RFAM offers a number of reports that are beneficial to review information, share with team members, and present at council/board meetings to validate the work that is getting done and support requests for funding or hiring of additional staff.
